[Basement Films]

Document This! a Basement Films Documentary Video Art workshop

Saturdays July 26 & August 2, 2008 10am - 12pm
Screening: Saturday August 2, 9pm $20 fee covers both workshops

In conjunction with the exhibition Trappings, 516 ARTS will host a two-
part workshop series in documentary video art and oral histories led
by Sarah Wentzel-Fisher and Basement Films. Students will generate and
synthesize oral histories into a finished collaborative video art
piece. They will have the opportunity to learn basic concepts of
documentary filmmaking, digital editing, and be playful and creative
with a contemporary artmaking medium. A culminating free public
screening of the finished work will take place Satuday, August 2 at
9pm. The workshop is open to teens & adults (high school & up). Sign
