A new version of BaseCow has been developed that include Menu Commands.
A menu call name called BaseCow is added to the Excel Menu. Commands
under this menu include:
Survival: This command will calculate the aggregate survival rate for
data entered in a column with the first column being the time to event
(or time to censoring) and the
second column consisting of a "1" to indicate that the event has
occured and a "0" to indicate that is has not occured (censored).
Statistical Process Control (SPC): This command will evaluate a row or
column of data and apply basic SPC rule to the data. Abberrant finding
will be indicated by a change in color format of the cell. A note is
added recording which rule has been violated.
Graphs: Tornado. This command creates a Tornado graph for a speadsheet
model.
Basically it is a form of simple sensitivity analysis. Basically, a
cell of interest is identified, the drivers of these cells including,
with their names, minimums, maximums. The graph then looks at varying
these drivers over their respective ranges.
