Author and Pastor, Josh Ross, from Memphis, TN is visiting to learn about the culture of Barrow and how a community survives and continues to thrive even though they face lengthy seasons of darkness. He will speak this Thursday evening from his book, Scarred Faith, which is a memoir chronicling the tragic death of his sister and how it coincided with a decision his family made to move into inner-city Memphis in order to live out the command to love neighbors as yourself. We all bare scars. They are physical, emotional, social, and psychological. One thing that is true is that every scar has a story.
