Hello All,
We are planning a star party in Coorg. This will be the last star party of the season. For this reason, we are making this a 3-night event (You can choose to attend one/two/three nights).
Date: 24th Mar 4PM to 27th Mar 6AM
Place: Muccole Estate, Coorg (http://www.inddetours.com/product/adventures-camp-stay-in-coorg/)
Transport: The participants will have to arrange for their own transport. If there are enough number of people without transport, we can arrange a mini bus (cost to be shared by the participants).
Equipment: The participants have to carry their own equipment. They are free to share the equipment of others subject to the discretion of the owner of the equipment.
We are subsidizing the participation fee for students. We also got a very generous deal from the resort since this is a non-profit event. Thanks to http://www.inddetours.com/
Participation fee: For Students: Rs. 1100 per person per day
Participation fee: For Non-Students: Rs. 1400 per person per day
This will include Accommodation, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
The participation fee should be paid at the venue to the organizers in cash.

The place is very dark with no lights nearby. Also it is a big campus with visibility all around. Since we have booked the whole place for ourselves, it should be a very pleasant experience.
My cousin visited the place last week and told me that there is absolutely no dew. The whole night was clear.
We are also planning to conduct many talks during this event. Sathish and Aditya have volunteered to give a few talks.
***Another highlight of this event***: We will be interviewing the participants and making a short movie on BAS and Star Party.
