Discussion on Astrophotography with Ajay Talwar --> This Sunday @ Planetarium

Hello All,
As you all know, Ajay Talwar is in Bangalore. He is one of the best Astrophotographers in India and is a photographer for TWAN. He has agreed to give a talk on "Photography with a DSLR and a Camera". This will be more of an interaction session with Ajay. We will choose a few of his excellent photos and discuss about how he took the photos, how he processed them and so on...

Ajay Talwar is a wonderful speaker who keeps it simple and practical. So, please make use of this opportunity to interact with him and learn from him.

Hello BASians,

Keerthi and I had a chat this evening. Since Bangalore weather forecast is looking cloudy, it seems better to have a indoor discussion rather than outdoor overnight observation.

Keerthi is presently working on a Venue, Date, Time and Duration for the discussion. Further, rather than have a conventional presentation on Astrophotography, we thought of having a question session. Something like - Hey how did you do this photo? or where was this taken, or what all processing did you do to get this result? We also thought of concentrating on TWAN style photos - Earth & Sky photos which are clicked using tripod and camera.

1. May I invite all BASians to browse through my album of TWAN style pictures.

3. Lastly you may post your questions to Keerthi Kiran, who has accepted to be the moderator of the discussion.

Keerthi will then collate the questions and moderate the entire actual discussion at the venue.

I'm sure it will be a pleasure to be with BASians in person.
