Are there any recommendations for Anti-Virus scanning when using Baruwa?
I did a bit of testing - and at present Baruwa is not scanning emails for anti-virus.

We are using the latest puppet script - and just built this system a few days ago.

PS - AWESOME JOB THUSFAR WITH BARUWA !!!

Baruwa is nothing more than a frontend to MailScanner Š you'll need to
have MS handle your virus scanning. Most people on the list use Clam. It
can be a bit of a memory hog depending on the amount of messages and
traffic, so make sure you have enough ram on the box.

Clamd should not be running. Clam is called from within MS.

Most run clamd as its faster scan than calling clams can which has to start up for each Batch

You need to be carefully of permissions, but all that's in the mailscanner.conf to read

Its actually recommended to run clamd, and get mailscanner using clamdscan. Saves reloading virus definitions multiple times etc, you just throw the content at the already running daemon.
