Join your classmates in volunteer service by signing up for the Baruch MPA Club Team for New York Cares Day on Saturday, April 21st!
5,000 of your fellow New Yorkers as well on that Saturday 21st will roll up their sleeves, get their hands dirty and clean up the city.  This important day of service will, for the first time, focus on our city's waterfront.

Baruch MPA student will volunteer to help build new vegetable and flower beds, turn compost and organize the storage bins.

Date & Time: Saturday, April 21st 2012 from 9:30 to 3:00 PM

Site Description:

The High School for Public Service Youth Farm provides fresh affordable food for the community, while providing educational and employment opportunities for youth and adults.
The Farm is a base for new experiential school curriculum, serving as an outdoor classroom and a catalyst for education from cooking and nutrition to migrant labor rights and trade policy.
Student farmers work during the summer on the farm, learning about sustainable agriculture and community leadership.
