I would recommend creating a new set of environments coe-dev and coe-prod. You can start deploying the starter kit in dev and test it before releasing it to the production. Always test the upgrades in you coe-dev environment so its not breaking in the production.

@RealBillyBoola : you can delete existing dev if it is not in use but there will not be any conflicts installing the coe starter kit in a separate environment which got a dataverse. There will not be any interaction between two environments as those envs act as separate containers.

I was just hoping to find different templates that might be circulating out there so I can 1.) See what other IT folks are up to and 2.) not re-create the wheel and have to create my own starter GPO's. That's literally it. It's a matter of time and laziness (you may not be able to admit that sometimes you just don't want to have to do all the work or you don't want to take the time, but I'm fine with saying it because everyone feels it at one point or another).

For example, say you have a very specific configuration that requires certain registry entries to be present on any system on your network. This would be a good setting to include in a template policy that you can apply and modify based on specific needs. The starter GPO gives you the baseline, settings you ALWAYS want configured when you create a new GPO.

How am I able to get away with this? Well, for starters, you can open as many windows as you want from a single program. So if you want to open 15 tabs in your browser, six images in your photo-editing program, and a couple of instant messenger windows, you can do it. You won't see this warning message until you try to open a fourth program:

Hello all have a situation and really dont know what to do. My daughter received a Inspiron Mini with Windows 7 starter several years ago. Recently think computer picked up a virus, well at least that what AVAST reported. It was removed but right after the system crashed. When it started to reboot it wanted to go to repair mode. I continually done this and would never boot back to windows. I attempted every option available including running the Dell Image Restore. It said it restored everything to factory defaults. The computer would would only boot to the repair program but never was able to repair anything. I read many blogs and articles on similair situations and fixes. I have tried all of them. Not sure which one, but one of the "fixes" has really screwed me up. When I attempt to boot now, it says BOOTMGR does not exist. So, I now I can't do any thing except get to the bios setup utility. I thought well since it's really screwed now, what a better time than now to attempt to use LINUX and see how it works. I would like information on what I would need to do to install a version on the computer. This computer is only used for internet stuff, nothing major, just surfing ie facebook. Is there a free version of Linux for something like this?

I already loved the kitchen cleaner, now trued the window cleaner and i can honestly say it is the best thing i have ever used on my windows in my 36 years of life. Works fast abd leaves no streaks. Just love it!

You need to change ownership of that wallpaper file.

Start -> Search -> cmd.exe. Right click on it then 'Run as an administrator'.

In the command window, type 'cd windows\web\wallpaper\windows' then hit enter. (Don't type the ' quote marks)

Type 'takeown /f img0.jpg' then hit enter.

You should now be able to rename that file and put your own desktop wallpaper in there. Just make sure you name it img0.jpg and it should have a resolution of 1920 x 1200

updating it to windows 10 has a change of making your hard disk unbootable cause you to never be able to use your pc unless you replace your hard disk with a working one (it happend to me and a lot of other people)
