Arts & Sciences in BFS

[Forgotten Sea Minister of Arts and Sciences]

As you probably already know, A&S/Populace gathering has been cancelled for 10/8. (fighter practice is also cancelled that evening)

On 10/15/25, Dorcas will bring the Roll of Arms project to our usual A&S meeting at the Antioch library in Gladstone. (painting pennants with the arms of everyone in the Barony). 

We will have a class on 10/22 about some of the new on-line SCA processes available to us.  More details will follow soon.  The current plan is for this to be presented online as well as in-person.

Beyond those dates we have nothing scheduled yet.  What would you like to teach or learn?  Do you have ideas for a group project?

On 11/19/ 25 and 12/17/25 neither of the large rooms at our usual meeting place are available.  Do you have something that you are willing to teach that is not possible to present in the library, but for which you would be willing to have students come to your home (or some alternative place like a makers’ space)?  Maybe something potentially messy or something that requires special equipment like cooking, weaving on a floor loom, or woodworking.  Let me know and we can schedule it for one of those dates!
