All,
You may remember I mentioned the "Micromouse" contest when I introduced myself during the meeting at Horizons. For anyone who has no idea what this is, just take a look at this video.
In the video, the entries to the contest are shown in reverse order of their final position in the contest. When you see the first couple, you think to yourself (or I think to myself) maybe... just maybe... an enthusiast group similar to Barnsley.io would have at least some chance of reaching that standard. But as the video goes on, the standard just gets higher... and higher... and higher! The entries at the end are just amazing (pun half intended).
Remember, these robots are not remote controlled. They are not pre-programmed with the layout of the maze. They are just made my some really, really clever people!
