Montaigne (NYRB, 2014), a modernized and annotated edition of
John Florio’s 1603
translation of Montaigne’s Essays, please join
us for an evening with with the book's co-editor, Peter Platt (Department
of English, Barnard College) in conversation with Phillip John Usher (Department of French, Barnard College).
