Guido Angelucci

--------------------

Guido, Gui' for short,  returns to the local music scene after a little (long) break! 🎶  All about sharing good vibes, genuine emotions, and creating sweet melodies with even sweeter people in the coziest of places.

“Hoping to click back in while sharing some songs written on my travels and some personal interpretation to well known hits.

Pull in as I dust off the guitar, tune the old vocal strings, and dive back into the heart of it. Hoping you will, enjoy the music, and make some memories. Because in the end, it's the important part.”

Matt Hibberd

--------------------

Matt Hibberd is a local songwriter from Cape Town that has been developing his grungy folk sound created using vocals and guitar. Influenced by 90s grunge rock and 00s punk, he's been incorprating more modern pop folk and country into his music to diversify his sound and writing style. Hopefully you enjoy the stories of heartbreak and life, and that some of the pieces of him he puts into his music finds a place that fits with you!

--------------------

No Syntax

--------------------

Jan-Daniël de Villiers has come a long way since 2014 when he decided to take his own solo music seriously and started performing and writing as No Syntax. This then being the grownup version of the previous moniker he played as since teenhood, t.W.i.M.c (to whom it may concern).

Playing guitar has always been his vehicle to express emotion and tell stories, writing what he feels.  This is evident in the wide range of songs that is produced - intimate and soft spoken, to belting foot stompers.  Some sets immerse the audience in heartfelt emotion, while others leave the crowd not knowing what to expect next.

Over the years before Covid, No Syntax built up a steady following, played numerous venues, and shared the stage with many artists.  This culminated in a live recording which was to be his first official album, also including a sold out show.  Then Covid hit, and a lot of life happened.

Come 2024, Jan-Daniël has made an active decision to pursue his passion again, build No Syntax to where it was in 2019, and take it further.  Share his stories, release that album, and above all, perhaps touch a soul or two.
