FEATURING:

--------------------

--------------------

Martin Prochaska

--------------------

Born in Johannesburg raised in the Eastern Cape. Started playing guitar at 19, played in pubs and events around the area. Moved to the UK and slowly stopped performing. Been in Cape Town for 13 years and decided to start performing again. Love writing my own songs and enjoy performing covers of mostly British indie rock.

--------------------

The Tree Ous

--------------------

Leonard, apart from being a thespian in his day, teamed up with his mentor Clive Ridgway to put together an album of original songs entitled, “Hawks and Doves” Three years ago. He has played in duos, trios and four ous, doing popular covers from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and nawtys.

Dominic got his musical start from a young age. Playing piano at 5, he knew the path was of a musical virtue. Fast forward to high-school, he acquired full colours playing for the national schools band in Grahamstown with an inclusion in the UCT big band of 2015. Today, Dominic is still venturing to new musical interests with country, rock and popular genres in a percussive capacity.

Cole Krieling, 20 years old and a Cape Town native, began his musical journey teaching himself guitar at age 11 and is now a high-achieving third-year student of Jazz Guitar at UCT, having earned the Dean's Merit Award in both his first and second years. His passion for music, influenced by jazz, funk, blues, pop, and fusion, drives his performances with the UCT Big Band and at festivals, where he captivates audiences with his unique sound combining jazz, blues, and fusion.

--------------------

Groove Architects

--------------------

Groove Architects is a trio consisting of Laurence Botha on guitar / vocals, Zubair Plaatjies on drums and André du Preez on bass. Our music is mostly based in rock, with funk, jazz and blues influences.
