ARRON DARCY

This is what Arron Darcy has to say about his music:

I would say I sound like a frog croaking its love songs to the calm river and forest air. I write songs about stories or phases in my own life and the lessons I might have learnt. My guitar playing is simple accompaniment to my lyrics. I learnt guitar and song writing from being a bar man at a music pub for two years and therefore some songs are written about the people and place where I was at. It’s probably singer/song writer with influences from folk and punk where anyone deserves the chance to sing a song or sing along if they wish. "

As ethereal as it is personal, Arron Darcy’s sound provides an usually clear view of a soul
and its struggle to accept containment and change.

STONE NGANDU

Stone Ngandu is a Congolese singer, songwriter and dancer who has been charming audiences in Cape Town since 2009. He’s performed with world famous Fally Ipupa and regularly appears at Cape Town’s Crypt Jazz Club as the lead singer of Afrofiesta. His album ‘Coup de Foudre’ was released in 2016.

Stone is a talented musician and consummate entertainer. He is able to connect to his audiences and create an uplifting, joyful mood. This explains why he is so often booked for events and parties.

Now he is launching a solo career to showcase his personal brand of rumba pop and to seek an audience for his inspiring songs. Don’t miss out on this golden opportunity to hear him live!

PEDRO & GABRIEL
Pedro and Gabriel are father and son musicians and will be performing mostly original
compositions with a few arrangements of evocative South American songs. Their musical roots are from Spain, France, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Africa. They will be playing guitar and the Ixilongo harmonic flute with some percussion to accompany Gabriel. Gabriel, principally a singer and guitarist, draws from some of the same musical influences, especially Brazilian music, along with more contemporary styles such as jazz, pop and hip hop. He has curated the Musical Imagery concert series in Cape Town and his shows embrace the intimacy of live performance.
