Larry Strelitz recently settled in Cape Town, having spent the last 35 years at Rhodes University as a Professor of Journalism and Media Studies. While in Makhanda/Grahastown, Larry played local venues both solo and in bands, including the National Arts Festival.
Larry is no stranger to the Barleycorn stage and was in the Top Ten of the 2023 Barleycorn Annual Songwriters’ Competition.

Gabriel Espi is a songwriter and producer who loves finding music in every little corner of life, using unusual grooves to explore intimate themes. His following of music has led to two releases, 2021’s Intimations EP and 2023’s Many Moons LP, a super-collaborative and kaleidoscopic blend of textures and feelings.
