JASPER DICK

Jasper Dick used to be a Barleycorn Committee member. He enjoys writing songs in a variety of genres and themes. Jasper works for a renewable energy company by day, and recently became a dad to a beautiful baby daughter for the first time, so it's always a treat for him to be able to pick up the guitar and dust off the rust! And for this show, Jasper will be bringing some new material to our stage.
Jasper is also one half of the duo MOBEYDICK, with Claire Mobey. Jasper and Claire started collaborating at the beginning of 2021, after years of promising to meet up and Jam. Friends since 1989, it's taken decades, a mutual love of music and a global pandemic to finally get these playground friends on stage together!

MelloShade comprises of the incredibly talented vocalist, Carien Oosthuizen, and the ever multi-talented singer, songwriter & musician, Cameron James Gaffney, who do not disapoint with their lovely, laid back harmonies and repertoire. JOHN ELLIS

Since relocating from Durban just over a year ago, John Ellis has been taking the Cape Town music scene by storm.
John led his band Tree63 to international acclaim as the band’s singer, guitar player and award-winning songwriter. As a solo artist, he has been nominated for a SAMA award, and has released five solo albums.
Since arriving in The Mother City, John has teamed up with with various local musicians and is currently taking the Cape by storm.
