Hailing from the Cape Town mountainside, AL Mountain opens the night with a vibrant acoustic set that deftly blends jazz, rock, and hip-hop influences. Simon-Peter follows with a collection of richly textured indie-folk songs that pair a soulful, resonant voice with classic rock-inspired storytelling. Simon-Peter is a talented musician whose original compositions blend the raw energy of Bruce Springsteen, the vibrant flair of The Killers, and the heartfelt simplicity of folk music. With a voice that echoes the soulful resonance of Memphis, he crafts songs that are both emotionally compelling and richly textured. His unique sound creates a bridge between classic rock and contemporary indie, capturing the essence of storytelling through music.

Rush the Sky are a jam-infused folk/rock band bringing high-energy performances and playful storytelling to every stage. With a residency at Ferryman’s Irish Tavern, V&A Waterfront, they’ve become known for their electrifying shows that blend originals and timeless covers with a signature ’70s groove.
Formed by Dave “The Storyteller” Berman and Rudi Gold, the duo built their chemistry over nearly 500 shows and a national tour as Flipsquad. The addition of Charlie Charles and John Silver transformed them into a dynamic quartet, delivering immersive, high-energy sets that leave audiences wanting more.
A mix of rock, blues, reggae, funk, and grunge, Rush the Sky thrives on the raw magic of live performance—creating moments that resonate long after the music stops.
