Hello Barleycorn Friends & Family

Due to unusual circumstances - including the renovations underway at the Rondebosch Golf Club - Barleycorn Music Club is taking a winter break. We will be back on the 17th August 2026!

While the doors are temporarily closed, we have some exciting things cooking:

🏆 The 2026 Annual Songwriters’ Competition We will shortly be announcing the official opening for song entries! The competition is open to all original tracks, with awesome prizes up for grabs as always. Later this year, the Top 10 finalists will perform their songs live for the very first time on the Barleycorn stage in front of a packed audience and a panel of judges.

📋 Help Us Shape the Future The committee is using this downtime to look at how we can continue to grow and support the local music scene. We’d love your input—please help us by completing a short questionnaire about your experiences and expectations at the club.
