Unfortunately the FIFA 16 demo can't be downloaded anymore from Origin. I would trully love to be able to add the FIFA 16 demo to my Origin library so that I could play the best recreation to the sport to date on my PC. Actually I would be ok to pay the full game price a second time, just to be able to play the demo at home.

The Operation Sports staff shares their thoughts and opinions on the new FIFA Street demo.

Jayson Young: EA Sports has decided to take the FIFA Street series in a more realistic direction with this reboot, and I'm not sure it's the right move for what used to be a flamboyant, over-the-top brand. Yes, the player animations remain beautifully fluid -- as has become the norm for FIFA games -- but the gameplay now feels like it's simply FIFA in confined spaces with smaller nets.

On a technical level, FIFA Street is superb; in motion, it's the prettiest sports video game I've played. But I don't know if soccer fans -- many of whom have already bought FIFA 12 and PES 12 -- are that excited to pay yet another $60 for a project that feels like it could've been a $15 to $20 downloadable expansion for FIFA 12.

Caley Roark: I really liked most of what I experienced in the demo. Pulling off tricks is fluid and easy, the animations look great (save for some moments when players are sprinting) and the presentation is slick.

The game reminds me of the NFL and NBA Street games, which also focused on style as much as scoring. Even the World Tour mode echoes those past games; I love that you create a team, level up your character, and can pull in your friends' players.

My biggest concern is floor space, as others have mentioned. It feels too confined, which eliminates a lot of passing strategy. My initials games seemed to focus on beating one defender at a time until the offense zone was flooded with my players. I'd prefer a more dynamic passing game that relies on quick strategy; this doesn't seem possible with the tiny courts.

Kelvin Mak: I pretty much agree with all of Bo's and Jayson's points.

Visually, like FIFA, Street is an impressive looking game. The graphics are beautifully done, and the animations sleek. From a technical standpoint, the game is great.

What I'm concerned with is FIFA Street's attempt to strike that balance between sim and arcade. I too expected the game to be a lot more helter skelter, but obviously it isn't. I'm not too wild about it -- as the saying goes, when you try to be everything to everyone, you're nothing to no one. So ultimately it feels eerily similar to FIFA 12, except in a smaller space.

Another worry, one that hope will be tweaked for the full release, is that there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of player differentiation. Controlling Nesta doesn't feel drastically different from controlling Nani, and if that is indeed the case for the full version, I can see the game getting old quicker than it should.

So the bottom line is that while I'm still having a good time with it (especially playing against friends), I just don't know if FIFA Street has enough depth to match its $60 price tag.

Nothing spectacular. Nothing revolutionary. Just decent. That is the word that comes to mind every time we think about the demo of FIFA 18. Considering the huge progress that PES is making each year, and PES 2018 is no exception, "decent" is not enough. We assume that fans of virtual soccer will feel the same way.

Last year, the introduction of the Champions League was heavily imbued in the demo and the game's developers are likely to do something similar for the FIFA 20 demo with new features such as the Volta street football mode at the fore.

In one minute I'll be announcing the announcement that the new demo of FIFA 12 will be being announced in a few minutes. That's a new demo for FIFA 12 that I will tell you has been released just as soon as I've announced that I'm announcing its imminent announcement. There's a FIFA 12 demo out! Wait, damn, that was too soon.

Gosh, I love foot-to-ball. I'm its number one fan. Every week you can see me by the rink side, hollering for my favourite team to get more points than the other one, and win the county cup. Which is why it'll come as no surprise to anyone that I'm here to tell you all about the new demo for FIFA 12. (Some people may not be as familiar with the sport as I, and not know that FIFA stands for Foot-to-ball Is Flipping Awesome, but now you do.)

I'll tell you what - some feet touched some balls in those field events! There were tackles, a couple of headers, and at least one point was scored every half-round. It was thrilling, as the commentators let me know. The good thing about the commentary in FIFA 12's demo is that it's able to remind you of the events that happened about 30 seconds before they're said, because otherwise such things are all too easy to forget.

It's early days, but my initial impressions of FIFA 19 based on the demo are that it feels zippier, the new timed shooting mechanic has made scoring goals more rewarding, and the ball feels less laser-guided than in previous versions.

Stats tracking is in the demo, although it's not cloud based, so head-to-head records expire after a game session ends. Still, if you're playing the demo local multiplayer, the game will track the results of player one versus player two, which is nice.

And finally, the demo has the new advantage settings feature, which lets you set the level of the AI teammates for each team, and set the starting score. So, if you want to play at a disadvantage or an advantage against your local multiplayer opponent, you can set that up.

For the first time in years, the new Fifa on PC gets all the same bells and whistles as the console versions. That means we'll get the crunching tackles enabled by the Player Impact Engine. You can see the new tech in action right now, in the 1.5 GB Fifa 12 demo , which offers 3 minute matches in Man City's Etihad arena. Arsenal, Man City, Barcelona, Milan, Marseille, and Borussia Dortmund are all playable, and the demo includes a series of tutorials to teach you the finer arts of tackling horribly late and mangling up your opponent. Fifa 12 is out on September 27 in the US, and September 30 in Europe.

A demo version of EA FC 24 might provide both long-time enthusiasts and newcomers with a sneak peek into EA's successor to the FIFA series. Yet, remarks from EA Sports Vice President David Jackson cast doubt on the possibility of a FIFA 24 demo release.

While there hasn't been a demo for FIFA in recent years, the idea of an EA FC 24 demo makes sense for several reasons. After the end of the FIFA series, EA surely wants to create excitement and buzz around their game. It gets players talking, builds anticipation and can attract new fans to the series.

Imagine the excitement of getting a sneak peek at the new ratings for the top players...

A well-designed demo would be a powerful marketing tool, highlighting the best new features of EA FC 24 best new features of EA FC 24 and encouraging players to buy the game. The chance to try out the gameplay, graphics and new features could bring back the excitement of the days when EA released regular FIFA demos.

But the publisher has other plans...

David Jackson, the Vice President of Brand Marketing at EA Sports, has confirmed that free demos will be a thing of the past. He rationalized this move by stating that the content in the demo versions often differs significantly from the final product.

Jackson elaborated that the primary goal of demos was never to provide players with a preview of the new game, but rather to collect player feedback. EA now achieves this through the game's beta version.

EA Sports will release its demo of FIFA 18 on September 12 for PS4 and Xbox One, according to a tweet from PlayStation. Operation Sports confirmed the demo will also be releasing for Xbox One as well.

EA Sports has been providing large demos to fans of late. The NBA Live 18 demo had several layers and it appears the FIFA 18 demo will be even more packed. It contains Play Now with 12 clubs and four stadiums.

Chelsea will be one of 12 teams available in the FIFA 16 demo which EA Sports will be rolling out on September 8. If you have an XBOX One, PS4, XBOX 360, PS3, or a PC you'll be able to download the demo and play with Chelsea.

EA Sports has released the demo for 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil for XBox 360 Live Gold members and Playstation 3 stores. The demo will be available to XBox Live Silver members on April 8th. The link to download the demo is here ( -fifa-world-cup/custom/demo).

The demo allows for quick matches involving the following playable teams: Mexico, United States, Brazil, England, Japan, Ivory Coast, Australia, and New Zealand. Estadio de Maracana, which will host the final in the real tournament, is the only playable stadium.

There are 12 teams available for selection in the FIFA 17 demo, and they are the Seattle Sounders, Tigres UANL, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyon, and Gamba Osaka.

Along with being able to play the usual exhibition matches to get a feel for FIFA 17, users can also do skill games on the demo as well as experience a small portion of the The Journey, which is a new game mode being introduced this year.

Early access through the Closed Beta, pre-ordering and EA Play allows players access to every game mode on FIFA 23, including their most popular game mode, Ultimate Team. Another way in which EA previously allowed players access to a FIFA title early was through a demo of the game.
