ForAltium projects, I've been exporting all projects to PCAD format so that I can check al PCB layouts very easily using PCAD viewer. It's a a very simple and effective viewer for checking anytime the PCB layout. You can select/highlight nets, components, to make measurements, etc.without starting the "big" software Altium.
The tools will run in "demo" or lite mode without a license and work exactly the same (except you can't save or output data). If you have a licensed version then you may need to adjust the CDS_LIC_FILE so that it is not set then when you start Capture it runs in demo mode. For PCB Edtior make sure you start allegro with a -orcad (start -> run ->allegro -orcad) and without a license it will run in demo mode.

We developed a Gene Annotation Easy Viewer (GAEV) that integrates the gene annotation data from the KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes) Automatic Annotation Server. GAEV generates an easy-to-read table that summarizes the query gene name, the KO (KEGG Orthology) number, name of gene orthologs, functional definition of the ortholog, and the functional pathways that query gene has been mapped to. Via links to KEGG pathway maps, users can directly examine the interaction between gene products involved in the same molecular pathway. We provide a usage example by annotating the newly published freshwater microcrustacean Daphnia pulex genome. This gene-centered view of gene function and pathways will greatly facilitate the genome annotation of non-model species and metagenomics data. GAEV runs on a Windows or Linux system equipped with Python 3 and provides easy accessibility to users with no prior Unix command line experience.
When I had my windows machine I was using MS 3D viewer, but I don't expect that to be on linux. So I'm looking for any simple to use, quick to load software that just draws the imported model and nothing else.

I am trying to make a simple photo viewer with javascript or anything easy to alter.
I just want a next and prev. button to take you between photos. Click next and next photo shows. Just that simple. I have a flash version but I would like to avoid using flash.I've been doing it the long way by making multiple pages, one for each photo and a button that repeats. I know there must be a better way but I just can't seem to figure it out.Please help
Beside, anything JQuery does you can do better in javascript. So why waste your time on something that will prevent you from learning the real Javascript. Since you are going to have a learning curve anyway.
I have a 102 year old grandfather that I cannot see physically because of Covid who I am desperately trying to set up under the "Grant easy access" functionality so I can connect to his computer and periodically help him via Team viewer. He is having a very hard time reading me the password these days as his eye sight isn't the best.
Despite doing this I was prompted for a password when I attempted to log on, later in the day. I later found a post that said I need to disable the random password from his settings, so I did this, but it is very difficult to test these settings with him and I'd like to set it up correctly once. He often get's lost and can't find the team viewer icon, which makes just getting connected a real challenge. I did add him to my contacts in the Team viewer management console, but I'm completely lost. ????

Place your second piece of card stock on the ground and hold the piece with aluminum foil above it (foil facing up). Stand with the Sun behind you and view the projected image on the card stock below! The farther away you hold your camera, the bigger your projected image will be.

Light from the Sun enters the pinhole (or the holes in an object like a colander), it gets focused, and then it is projected out of the other side of the hole. When the projected light reaches a surface, like the second piece of paper, you can see the image that passed through the pinhole.
To use the viewer, position the cardboard tube so that it does not make any shadow other than the round circle of its diameter. The angle you need will depend on the current height of the sun in the sky. This is an easy way to tell that you have it lined up correctly.
Personally I used a round mailing tube from the stationary store. 36" long, approx. 3 1/8" in diametre (from side to side of the tube). I put a hole in the one end about 1/2" in diametre. The viewing port I cut out was 1 1/4" high. The section of tube I cut out was clean enough to reinsert into the tube part way and use as an awning of sorts to block out more light. Worked like a dream :D
