Nooo...no cheats..i like the way it is cuz it making me to play like a multiplayer pve without constraint of requirement of internet, lag, tame limit, decay, etc... all you need to change on single player is the difficulty option, fixes on the current bugs and improve game being similar to pc/console counterpart
besides it will be bad for both players and the devs.. for us players since there will be cheats ..in time singleplayer will have less players playtime....means less finding out bugs on singleplayer..means less fixing or update of the mode of the game since almost no reports...
and for devs..since getting every thing is easy on singleplayer means less playtime for a player..probably no wants to click that ads for amber or purches an amber.. for like buffs, soothing balm, etc...since theres a cheat you could put simple god mode on and spawn dinos in a safe place
Do you plan on doing a beta access for certain people to test to see if the game will handle it or will you make everyone wait until the final release I would personally like mods but I don't want to pay for them if you put them in as a option not like God mode were we have to pay
But I saw that they are having an AMA on Reddit tomorrow (or today depending on where you are) I dare say the subject of mods will come up at least 500 times - lots of people want mods, even if it was just limited to a few. I would love to see other maps added, but have no clue what is possible with the programming languages used to create ark mobile.
For example if I add a texture mod that costs more performance, will the Switch players simply not see the mod, or will the Switch try to use the texture mod? Maybe the Realm wouldn't show for them at all?
They won't be compatible at all. Unlike Java edition where you likely can import a datapack/resource pack to a Realm things Mojang does support. They don't mods so mods don't get supported with Realms. If it is for console I'm not aware but I doubt it's only for approved, if it's not in the marketplace it isn't legit to be compatible I think.
Unless the game devs say it's ok mods don't exist for those games. It's why Skyrim Special Edition exists is 'particular mods' or I guess even Ark Survival Evolved any community maps/mods that became part of the game that console players also got access to.
No consoles support mods. Mojang doesn't want to moderate them/have to deal with them. PC/Mobile mods don't even get money it's up to fans to donate to them via other sources you can't make money for third party content but you can if it's approved in the marketplace for 'third party/fan content' go figure there.
Not even importing Resource Packs/Worlds, only what is marketplace accessible of worlds, skins, resource packs are allowed on console or whatever worlds you created yourself and want to move between console likely. But that's because it's your worlds. Or when you were allowed to convert worlds from 360 to Xbox One, PS3/Vita/PS4 or for example.
So community content is not really accessible to console users if it's 'free' and on 'third party' platforms such as a MCPEDL or Curseforge unless it's mobile or PC the two platforms that both offer fan/unofficial mod loaders in the past and current even.
