Hi all,

I'm searching for a SIP client for Android and for Debian SO, and I have found this project on github, that have Debian and F-droid packages, a greet news!

I don't know if exist any wiki or manual to read ¿? I haven't found.

On F-droid I have seen 2 possibilities packages, baresip and baresip+ (I haven't found the difference) I have installed baresip+ and test it and it works really good, but I haven't found the way to receive calls or make a multi call, any help?

On Debian I have seen a baresip-gtk package, but I haven't found the way to execute the client. I have seen that with command prompt I can execute baresip and register my account, but I don't know how to use. But if exist a client, as seems, will be great.

Well, thank for advance for the possible help!

I know Python, not C. But if I can help in any way, testing or any thing will be a pleasure.

Cheers,

bernat

baresip+ android app adds video support to baresip android app.

usually you register to your sip server in order to receive calls.

Oks. Thanks. So the baresip by the moment will be enough.

I have register my account and the outgoing calls are working well, but the incoming not. I will make more tests.

Thanks!

The account didn't register correctly, because the dot is not green, is white. But the outgoing calls are working, by the moment :-) Any idea?

The top left icon baresip.jpg I'm not sure it's function ¿?

I have tested that If I'm in a middle of a SIP call and enter a GSM call, the SIP call fail and GSM call become the "boss". There is a way to avoid it?

I have made some test, and read the file explanations and read the options and I have understood how it works, I thing :-) It's al work on command and have the possibility to active a GTK submenu. But, even I configure in my 'accounts' file my sip account, it's not register well.

I have an Asterisk server and use a different port, not base 5060. I don't know if I have to change in the 'config' file "sip_listen domain.com:PORT" or in my account definition "<sip:us...@domain.com:PORT;transport=tcp>;auth_pass=secret".

Because the "sip_listen" is from my Asterisk server or is generic? Because if I wan to have more than one account from different servers, is that possible?

Thanks!

White means that you have not checked Register box in the account's
config and therefore the app does not try to register the account.

It is standard Android material design speaker phone button.

It does not happen on my device. It rings when PSTN call comes in, but
I can decline the PSTN call without baresip call being disconnected.

This mailing list is not intended for baresip Android app related
discussions. You can open issues on page

https://github.com/juha-h/baresip-studio/issues

if you think that there are bugs in the app.

I'm not sure if there are bugs in the app. I need to know how to work with it, before test it and ensure if there is any issue. But, ok I will ask my next possible questions on github.

For the "Debian" use I could use this mailing list?

Thanks far all and sorry fore the noise.
