Pool can't prune data when expired retention

When i configure pool below:
Pool {
Name = "VM1_pool"
PoolType = Backup
LabelFormat = "VM1_pool-"
RecycleOldestVolume = yes
MaximumVolumes = 1
MaximumVolumeBytes = 60G
VolumeRetention = 1 months
AutoPrune = yes

}

It was last used to write to the pool 37 days ago, however when I started the full task today, it stated that "0 Jobs have expired and can be pruned." How can it be fixed?
