I am not seeing the bareos-webui in the RHEL7/current repository and I don't see anything in the docs saying that support for RHEL7 webui has been dropped.

Error: Bareos WebUI (21.1.5~pre43.748f13896) requires a Director of the same major release (22). The Director version is 22.0.2~pre32.1665d91f5.

Any ideas?

as CentOS 7 will be EOL in mid 2024, I’d install a newer version, maybe some Rocky Linux, i.e. If you don’t want this, you could give the EL8 package a try, as webui „only“ contains php scripts.

Still think there should be a note, if the BareOS repo has a RHEL7 folder it should be complete.

I don't know how the project can make it more clear, if you have an idea, please share.

Bareos 22 removes bareos-webui support for RHEL 7 and CentOS 7

Are there any technical needs why webui is no longer provided for el7 distributions?

Yes I didn't found again the real pointer, but the things is some components used in the Zend Framework needs at least php 7.4 plus php-fpm and a fcgid compatible.
which start to be a real challenge on EL_7
