Hello,

I'm a long time Bacula user who had his eye on Bareos for a while but
just never saw the need to switch. However recently I've been tasked to
move backups from simple disk/file storage to S3/Ceph and this seemed
like a good moment to give Bareos a shot.

I already made some simple tests with libdroplet that look promising but
before I put more effort in this I wanted to ask if someone else is
storing from Bareos to S3 exclusively in a bit larger scale and if this
works reliably and performantly of course given a large and performant
enough Ceph/S3 cluster.

Thanks,

Martin

Not sure what is considered large; among our references [¹] check for
CHPC. They use Bareos for multiple CepH/S3 environments. PM me for more
info.
