Auto prune volume

Hello to all,

I am still in my test phase with Bareos (VMWare plugin) on hard disk.

I noticed that my old volumes were not 'plum' as configured in my pools on the director, I don't know if I missed something?

Likewise, I noticed this on the web interface in the client config

In my config, I want Bareos to truncate the volume at the end of his time.


When I prune manually my volume, he is correctly Purged.



Someone has already encountered this problem ? I don't from where the problem can appear

Maybe you forget the fact that Bareos is conservative by default, and your volume will be really touch only on last resort, just before a new job will need it.
