Can Bareos determine the remaining free space on the tape before completing the task? Let's say there are 6 pools on the tape, and the 7th pool one does not fit completely. How to make sure that the 7th pool is not distributed in parts across two tapes? The seventh pool must be completely written to the next volume (tape). That is, if there is not enough space on the tape for the entire pool, then the autochanger loads the next tape under it.

Hello Ramil,
I can't believe this is achievable easily with tape (nor with any medium type), most drive have compression which will greatly vary depending of the source data rendering everything quite unpredictable.
