How I can improve speed MSSQL backup?

Hello.

I see that MSSQL backup job working with 1 thread, if I going to add directive Maximum Workers Per Job = 10 on the client's side, reloaded services and start backup job again, speed wasn't changed as then as before added directive.

How I can improve speed MSSQL backup? And how this directive (Maximum Workers Per Job) works?

It will not add magically thread to the job.

Depending on your configuration and filesset options, there's maybe different way to speed up you backup.

Using fast checksumming, appropriate compression, etc ...
