Hello Bareos Team,

I have a problem with a 18.2 director. When I start a bconsole, type "restore" and any other option like "9", the bconsole crashes and ends without any error message.

When I start the director in foreground and with debug 400, I get the following output:

I've had a look at the postgres database, there is no table "temp".

Can you give me a hint?

Thank you,

Hello,

has someone an idea what causes this fatal database error? Any hint would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Marcus Wagner

Hello,

very strange, this could be a database access rights problem.
You should check the postgresql logs when that happens.

Also, you could try to fix the access rights with "grant_bareos_privileges".

Hi,

i had the same problem and was able to fix it by upgrading to 19.2.6. There is also a bug ticket for bconsole crashes in 18.2.

Best regards,
Kai
