Bareos 25.1.1 released

We are happy to announce maintenance release 25.1.1[1]

We recommend to upgrade to the latest version. In case you like our

release of Bareos.

Security
--------

- A stack-overflow in the .bvfs_versions command, that could lead to a
crash in the director, has been fixed [PR #2786[5]]

- A vulnerability in the nanoid dependency of the new WebUI has been
addressed [PR #2773[7]] CVE-2026-67213[8]

Fixed
-----

- A possible crash in the Windows version of bconsole was fixed [PR
#2640[9]]
- Crash reports with btraceback are now configurable with environment
variables [PR #2782[10]]
- The dplcompat backend will no longer terminate the SD when a chunk
deletion fails [PR #2789[11]]
- A race condition in the way the BVFS cache was updates has been
fixed [PR #2651[12]]
- A possible crash in the SD when Changer Command was not configured
has been fixed [PR #2791[13]]
- A problem in the Hyper-V plugin that prevented other jobs from
starting has been fixed [PR #2794[14]]

Changed
-------

- EL packages are now built with GCC 15
- The webserver conifugration for the new webui has been simplified
[PR #2776[15]]
