Hello everyone,

I have the following question:

I have an existing backup job on two Linux clients.
Now I would like to adjust the scope of the backed up files, which, as I understand it, I can easily do by expanding the data in the fileset.
What I'm not entirely sure about is whether I can easily adjust the job name? I think if that's possible, I have to reread thejobs or rename the existing ones, or can I do it without doing that?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Best regards
MaP

The job Name can stay the same.
You extent the fileset data (which will trigger a new full)

Then the restore will contain the whole dataset once the new full is done, and the partial dataset before that date.

Changing a JobName will make new job with that name, and I would advise to not try to change its previous occurrences.

Hi Bruno,

that worked for me, thank you!
All additionally files were backuped with an new full.
Now i'll see if the incrementalls after the full will work
