Hello everyone,

I have configured bareos director and storage server on the same server, and when schedule backup to particular time it is showing the job is running with warning message showing below.

bareos-sd JobId 192: Warning: stored/mount.cc:270 Open device "FileStorage" (/var/lib/bareos/storage/catalog) Volume "Full-0127" failed: ERR=stored/dev.cc:731 Could not open: /var/lib/bareos/storage/catalog/Full-0127, ERR=No such file or directory

Please provide some edequate solution to overcome this problem. that would be appreciated.

Hi,

the message means Bareos cannot find its volume file.

This usually happens when you either change the path in your storage
configuration or - more likely - when you remove a volume file (in this
case "Full-0127") without removing the corresponding entry in your
Media table.
If you deleted the file, you will need to delete and recreate the
volume in Bareos. Otherwise you just need to make sure the volume file
is accessible in the location Bareos expects it.

Best Regards,
Andreas
