Backup warning about files in C:/Windows/System32/LogFiles/Sum/ on Windows 2016

Hi all,
I'm wonder that I don't find anything about this issue with the
search-function.

On some standard Win2016 installations where the client was installed
with winbareos-16.2.4-postvista-64-bit-r14.1.exe the backup ends with an
warning:
Could not stat "C:/Windows/System32/LogFiles/Sum/�섨Ʉ": ERR=Das System
kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.

On other Clients I got more warnings about simmiliar Files:
Could not stat "C:/Windows/System32/LogFiles/Sum/땐�ɐ": ERR=Das System
kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.
Could not stat "C:/Windows/System32/LogFiles/Sum/쁠�NJ": ERR=Das System
kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.
Could not stat "C:/Windows/System32/LogFiles/Sum/�꺿Ě": ERR=Das System
kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.
Could not stat "C:/Windows/System32/LogFiles/Sum/�Ț": ERR=Das System
kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.


On the windos-clients the files looks ugly (taken from the first client
with one warning):

and the file with the strong name are also not in the clipboard...

So I assume, that other people have the same issue.
What is the right way? Disable Windows\System32\LogFiles\Sum from
Backup?! Baremetal recovery without this directory will work without
trouble?

I wan't avoid to have the state, that warnings are normal - then issues
with VSS will not reconiced.

BTW. on the backup-server (ubuntu 16.04) is bareos 16.2.4-12.1 running.

Are you sure you don't have a trashed filesystem? Try running chkdsk
/f on the Windows machine.

Hi Andreas,
thanks for the hint.

I run the chkdsk on one system succesfully but the backup after that has
the same warning about the file (and VSS-Warnings too):

I will exclude the LogFiles/Sum dir…
