How are you currently writing your HLA code and how do you assemble/compile it?

Hello, fairly new to assembly and BMOS.

I've learned a bit of HLA and I was wondering if there's a way to compile it for BMOS. I've heard that you need a flat, header-less binary file but I'm not sure what flags would make HLA output that.

On an unrelated note is it possible to compile advanced programs such as x264 for BMOS? I'm rather intrigued at the potential performance gains of running an H.264 encoder on a assembly mono-tasking system like this.

I'm usually just including the standard HLA library and compiling without any specific options. Should I have HLA use NASM as the back-end assembler instead of HLABE?

I would try NASM as it's used to compile the other assembly code we use.
