Can anyone write an installer?

The instructions for getting a bootable copy of BareMetal OS on an IDE
drive are somewhat confusing. What is said and the images associated
with what is said don't seem to match up exactly. Surely someone can
write an installer that automates this process?

Also, is it possible to use an SDHC card as the drive? The SDHC slot
in my Gateway NV55S09u laptop seems to NOT be a USB device, so would
it work? It almost seems to be classified as an actual (removable)
hard drive, to Windows 7. Not sure what to make of it.
