Wild Rose Chorale
An Evening of Holiday Music
Candlelight Concert – December 18, 2025
Trinity United Methodist’s Candlelight Concerts host the Wild Rose Chorale, a Port Townsend’s premier a cappella group, who will be performing at Trinity United Methodist Church on Thursday, December 18th at 7:00 PM for one set with no intermission.
The performance will also be streamed live at https://trinityumcpt.org/ where you will find a link for the Candlelight Concerts Online and ways to donate. The concert will also be simulcast on KPTZ FM 91.9.
Admission to the concert is free (really!), with a suggested donation $15 per person. You are most welcome to attend whether you choose to donate or not. Half of the proceeds from this concert go toward the Wild Rose Chorale’s scholarship fund, which makes awards to promising high school and college students who pursue choral music in their post-secondary education.
The Wild Rose Chorale has been entertaining area audiences since it was formed in 1992. Often billed as Port Townsend's premier a cappella ensemble, its repertoire includes jazz, pop, show tunes and traditional songs, all sung without instrumental accompaniment. Wild Rose has performed for private groups, charity fundraisers, civic events and puts on two major concerts per season. From time to time it takes on student interns and offers an annual scholarship to students continuing in choral music beyond high school. The chorale is directed by Leslie Lewis, local music teacher, choral singer and conductor.
