Help Capture the Port Townsend Artist Studio Tour—Volunteers Wanted 📱
We’re looking for volunteers to help promote the upcoming Port Townsend Artist Studio Tour by capturing short, raw video clips of local artists in their studios—using just your cell phone in portrait orientation. We’ll turn your footage into reels to help promote this volunteer-run event. You will get credit for raw footage and based on last year's experience, promoted reels will be seen by 30,000-100,000 eye balls.
Filming is flexible and will be coordinated around your schedule between June and August 2026.
You don’t need prior experience photographing artists or studios—truly. The only “requirements” are showing up on time, being kind and respectful of artists and their spaces, and capturing simple, honest raw video on your phone.
Are you a high school student interested in media and building a portfolio? New in town and looking to meet people? A longtime local ready to step out of the woodwork? Or just curious to try something new? We’d love to have you involved.
