Sat Mar 21: Styrofoam recycling at Fort Worden Battery Putnam

Port Townsend StyroCycler's next collection will be on SATURDAY, MARCH 21, 10:00 to noon, at Fort Worden Battery Putnam (near Alexanders Castle, 229 Alexanders Loop for your GPS). We do not post signs. Be prepared to find us on your own.

RESIDENTS OF EAST JEFFERSON COUNTY ONLY. Stay home if the weather is bad (high winds or heavy rain).

We only take what our recycler takes! That is, white styrofoam (EPS), all colors of polyethylene (LDPE-4), white EPS food trays, and separated biodegradable (squishy) versus EPS (crispy) packing peanuts (no mixtures). CLEAN and DRY materials only! Please remove all tape, labels, etc., before you arrive. WE INSPECT AT THE CURB.

Please combine your materials with those of your neighbors and friends to help decrease the number of vehicles coming to these events.

Please contribute $ to one of our collection boxes, if you can. Our expenses are approximately $600/month.
