Sat. March 7: An artist talk and the monthly Art Walk at Northwind give you a chance to discover beautiful art and the people who made it. First up at 3 PM is the versatile Kristin L. Tollefson, who will share stories about her travels and her art-making. 

Then you’re invited to first-Saturday Art Walk from 5-8 PM, when you can continue exploring Kristin’s  sculptures and wearable art. They are on view alongside creations by artist and naturalist Darwin Nordin, in the “Confluence” exhibit. This show features more than 100 works: sculpture, mixed media and wearable art pieces. 

All of this takes place at Northwind Art’s Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water St., where admission is free to everyone. More info awaits at https://northwindart.org. Pictured: Artist Kristin L. Tollefson.
