Sat. Dec. 13: The dress rehearsal for the Port Angeles Symphony's Holiday Concert and audience carol sing-along is open to the public at 10 a.m. This is an opportunity to enjoy Tchaikovsky's "Winter Dreams," the Saint-Saens cello concerto with soloist Gregorio Nieto, the orchestral premiere of Vincent Oneppo's "Man Who Saved Christmas" overture, and more — all  performed by the 75-piece Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are available at https://portangelessymphony.org and at the door of the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, 304 E. Park Ave., Port Angeles. The rehearsal is a way to experience the music if you cannot make it to the evening concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. There may still be seats available at the evening concert, though they are selling fast. Visit the Symphony website or phone 360-457-5579 for information. Pictured: cello soloist Gregorio Nieto.
