Thu April 2: Make mini altar boxes at Northwind Art School at Fort Worden, and create unique and personal mementos or gifts for loved ones. Visit https://northwindart.org for details about this class and many others offered this spring. With teaching artist Jan Jorgensen as your guide, you'll construct mini-altars with small treasures, images, jewelry and more. Northwind Art School at Fort Worden provides the tiny tins and basic supplies, and you bring ideas to create up to three Altoid-tin size altars. Items for your altar may include: jewelry from the past, tiny photos and other mementos; Jan will supply various little touches such as lace, papers and sparkles.
