This fun and analytical downtown tour is anchored around some of the more infamous, mysterious, and salacious stories of local lore, each paired with historical investigation that reveals how we know what we know - and what may always remain a mystery. Explore how documents, photographs, and stories passed down over time all shape our understanding of the past. Led by the Jefferson County Historical Society.

• Pre-registration highly encouraged, as capacity is limited and tours sometimes sell out
• Flat, 0.7 mile route through downtown. Public seating available at some stops
• Approx. 80 minutes
• Price: $15 for JCHS members; $20 for non-members
