Sat Sep 6: The Potluck Banquet art show is in the limelight during Art Walk, Port Townsend's free stroll through local galleries. 

Northwind Art presents Potluck Banquet, a 96-piece celebration of food and drink in artwork. There are sculptures such as "Entree: Stuffed Whole Trout," glazed ceramic desserts, paintings of pancakes, abstract works, four forms of chocolate and more. This large-scale art exhibition is on view through Oct. 13 at Northwind's Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water St., Port Townsend. Art Walk is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday; then the gallery hours are 12-5 PM Thursdays through Sundays. 

You're invited to cast your ballot for your favorite piece in the People's Choice Award voting box in the gallery hallway too. The winner will be announced at the close of the show.
