When the talentless star of a musical is murdered on opening night, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi arrives to solve the mystery and finds himself drawn into the dramatic world of the production.
Sounds simple enough, right?
Not in this slapstick musical hit. With intrigue, murder, western saloons, a river boat paddle wheel ship, fights to the finish against the forces of goods and even mermaids. Curtains will dazzle and entertain.
Originally a Broadway hit that garnered a Tony Award for star David Hyde Pierce (Niles on TV’s Frasier) and 2007 Drama Desk Award Nominations
for Outstanding Book of a Musical and Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical - Debra Monk, this unconventional show wowed audiences with great tunes and old time dance numbers.
Director Trina Williamson (Once Upon a Mattress) brings together talent from across Kitsap County to bring life to this wonderful spectacle, including:
