Thurs Aug. 13: The "Migration" exhibit opens at Northwind Art, bringing with it four artists' work inspired by the movement of wildlife, people and ideas across the world. Come explore luminous paintings, sculpture and mixed media art by Kate Flores, Mary O'Shaughnessy and Loran Scruggs of Port Townsend and Carolyn King of Tucson, Arizona. This varied show runs through Sept. 28 at Northwind's Jeanette Best Gallery, 701 Water St. Hours are 12 noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays through Mondays. More info and images are at https://northwindart.org.
