--Singing Resistance Port Townsend (SRPT) warmly invites you to come sing songs of solidarity, resistance, and upliftment for these troubling times. 

CHANGE OF VENUE: 430 35th Street (see map below)

Wednesday April 29th from 6:30-8:00 pm

We will learn songs to sing together at protests and at the May 2nd Celebrate our Local Small Businesses Day (more info and flyer below).

Parking is limited:

• Walk, bike or carpool
• Angle park in guest spaces immediately to your right as you enter the parking lot, including 2 ADA spaces next to the gate that will lead you to the Common House
• Additional parking is available along 35th St. and also on Haines
• Please do not enter through other gates to respect the privacy of residents.

Please wear NO SCENTS, even "natural" ones. The space is a shoes-off space. Shoe covers are available.

All voices are welcome! 

Please bring a dollar donation for the use of the space on Wednesday and a donation to help cover Singing Resistance PT organizing costs. All songs will be taught by ear and are easy for anyone to join in on. 

We are one of more than 230 Singing Resistance groups across North America, inspired by the power of group singing in Minneapolis in response to ICE violence. Singing Resistance is committed to peaceful resistance to growing authoritarianism in our country.

Whether you come on the 29th or not, you are welcome to come sing anytime.

At Protests: We'll let you know when we will be singing at local protests.

We will NOT be at the May 1st National Day of Action 

1:00-2:00: Sign-Waving on Sims Way with a focus on Workers over Billionaires

May 2nd: We WILL be singing in town for Celebrate our Small Business Day

2:00: Better Living Through Coffee Plaza 

Wear red to join in solidarity!

Rain? We have to cancel to protect the sound system.

Possibly May 16th: Rhody Parade

May 7th -11th: Singing Resistance will be leading singing at the Global Earth Repair Convergence at Fort Worden. Check it out!
