Sat May 2: Quimper Geological Society -- Nick Zentner presentation -- “Did the Canadian Rockies form in Nevada?”

The Quimper Geological Society is hosting Geologist, Nick Zentner, from PBS’s “Nick on the Rocks” and Central Washington University for a presentation at the Chimacum Schools Auditorium (91 W Valley Road, Chimacum, WA 98325) on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 4 PM. Nick’s presentation “Did the Canadian Rockies form in Nevada?” will include data on why some geologists believe a large fault caused northward migration. Come find out how Nick can inspire many geologists to work collaboratively to solve some of the Pacific Northwest geology conundrums.
