Sat Mar 15: Styrofoam recycling at Fort Worden Battery Putnam

The next Port Townsend StyroCyclers collection will be on Saturday, March 15, at Fort Worden Battery Putnam (next to Alexander's Castle, 229 Alexanders Loop). 10:00 to NOON. Residents of East Jefferson County only. Stay home if the weather is bad (below 32 degrees, high winds, icy, snowy, or heavy rain). Check our Facebook page (Google "Port Townsend styrofoam"). We'll post a cancellation, if needed, the evening before or the morning of. We only take what our recycler takes! That is, white styrofoam (EPS), all colors of polyethylene (LDPE-4), white EPS food trays, and separated biodegradable (squishy) vs EPS (crispy) packing peanuts (no mixtures). CLEAN and DRY materials only! Please remove all tape, labels, etc., before you arrive. WE INSPECT AT THE CURB.
