The Jefferson County Historical Society is joining more than 100 museums across Washington State for Museum Day, offering free admission on Saturday, August 8 at both the Rothschild House Museum and the JCHS Museum of Art + History. Both sites will be open 11AM – 4PM.
If you've been meaning to stop by, haven't visited in years, or are curious to see what's new, this is a great opportunity to explore our newly transformed Museum of Art + History at no cost.
As part of the nationwide America 250 commemoration, JCHS is also co-hosting a segment of “Moments That Made Us” with Washington State Parks. This traveling panel exhibition examines how Americans have interpreted the ideals expressed in the Declaration of Independence across 250 years.
