Sat Jul 20: Styrofoam recycling at Fort Worden Battery Putnam

The next collection event by the Port Townsend StyroCyclers will be on Saturday, July 20, 10:00 to noon, at Fort Worden's Battery Putnam (near Alexander's Castle, 229 Alexanders Loop).

We take only what our recycler takes! That is, white styrofoam (EPS), all colors of polyethylene (LDPE-4), white EPS food trays, and separated biodegradable (squishy) vs EPS (crispy) packing peanuts (no mixtures).

CLEAN and DRY materials only! We inspect at the curb. Please remove all tape, labels, etc., before you arrive.

Please combine your materials with those of your neighbors and friends to help decrease the number of vehicles coming to these events.

Volunteer with us! We have a big team so that volunteers can have flexible schedules.
